On Thursday 25th January, 17 students from Priestnall School visited local primary schools to share their love of language learning.

The group of students, who were from Years 7-10, attended seven local primaries to deliver their very own “Why Learn Languages?” assemblies.

As Languages Ambassadors, the students were brimming with enthusiasm as they presented their assemblies to the children.

The initiative aimed not only to highlight the importance of language learning, but also to inspire the younger minds in our community.

At each and every school the students visited, their passion for languages shone through as they engaged with primary school students.

The feedback from the primary schools was overwhelmingly positive and our students were praised for their confident and engaging delivery.

It was a great experience for our students and the pupils they met, which left many of them feeling very inspired!

We’re incredibly proud of all our Languages Ambassadors for their hard work and their commitment to sharing the joy of languages with younger children, well done!
