What is Directed Study?
Directed Study provides curriculum materials to support students who are temporarily unable to attend school. The resources are designed to help students maintain continuity with their learning, consolidate key knowledge, and remain connected to the curriculum until they return to lessons in school.
Directed Study consists of subject specific tasks and materials aligned to our curriculum. These resources are intended to:
- help students keep up with key curriculum content
- reinforce learning that has already been taught
- support a smooth return to lessons after absences
How to use Directed Study
Below you will find subject icons, each linking to a secure SharePoint area.
Students should:
- access the relevant subject area(s)
- complete the tasks that have been set
- bring any completed work, questions, or notes back to lessons where appropriate
Parents and carers can support by:
- encouraging regular engagement with the tasks provided
- helping students access the resources and organising their time
- contacting school if further guidance is needed
