GCSE Results

The 2025 GCSE results saw:

  • 78.1% of students achieving grades 9-4 in English and Maths
  • 56.3% of students achieving grades 9-5 in English and Maths
  • Nearly a third of all grades were a grade 7 or higher
  • 70 students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at grades 7-9
  • Attainment 8 score – 52.5

We would also like to congratulate:

  • The 9 students who achieved straight 8/9s
  • The 10 students who achieved 5 or more grade 9s
  • The 23 students who achieved straight 7-9 grades

The 2024 GCSE results saw:

  • 82% achieving grades 9-4 in English and Maths, and 64% achieving the gold standard of grades 9-5 in English and Maths. This put the school second in the tables for Stockport.
  • 32% achieving both English and Maths at grade 7 or above
  • A Progress 8 score of +0.40, this means that on average our students achieved nearly half a grade higher in each of their GCSEs than their peers nationally
  • 36% of all grades were at grade 7+
  • 46 students achieved 8 or more grades 7+
  • 86 students achieved 5 or more grades 7+

Particular congratulations go to:

  • The 18 students who achieved 5+ grade 9s
  • The 10 students who achieved straight grade 8s and 9s.
