Celebrations are underway at Priestnall School as the Class of 2025 has truly made their mark with excellent GCSE results.

Nearly a third of all grades awarded reached Grade 7 or above – a remarkable milestone – with an impressive 65% of grades achieving Grade 5 or above.

Both GCSE English and Maths saw strong results, with 56% of grades at Grade 5+, while close to 80% achieved Grade 4+.

Rachel Howarth, Head of School at Priestnall School, said:
“We are delighted with the strong GCSE results achieved by our Year 11 students and incredibly proud of each and every one of them. These results reflect the genuine commitment and perseverance shown by our students throughout their studies.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to parents and carers for their unwavering support during the exam period, and to our dedicated teaching staff whose expertise and encouragement have been instrumental in the success of the Class of 2025.

These results represent an important milestone for our students and mark the beginning of the next chapter of their Life After Laurus. Their achievements will support them to open the door to the future of their choice. We wish them every success as they embark on this exciting next phase of their journey.”
